This Saturday, June 13, 2026, Canton Lodge #60 will be hosting a Memorial Service for member WB Daniel L. Heaton who passed away on March 31, 2026 at age 71. "Lieutenant Dan" as he was called, was a long time member of Canton #60 and a Past Master. He was also retired from the Canton City Police Dept.

The order of the afternoon is as follows:

Service will be in the Cryptic Room

The Service will start at 1 p.m. with a Masonic Service.
Speakers
Fraternal Order of Police Ceremony
Folding and Presenting of the Flag
Speakers
Honor Guard and Taps outside
Refreshments in the Ballroom

There will be Canton 60 members available to help guide folks through the building.

Please join us at lodge this Wednesday, May 20th. The Senior Steward has a meal of shredded BBQ chicken sandwiches, potato salad and cookies. LEO Dallas Baldwin has a program of Dionysiac Artificers for your enjoyment. Looking forward to seeing everyone who can attend!

Here are some events going on in the 21st District for the coming week.

Tuesday April 21st 7:00 pm National Lodge #568 will be conferring the Rusty Nail degree, and all Master Masons are welcome.

Saturday April 25th at 9:00 am Port Washington Lodge #202 will have their 175-year Reconsecration to be done by the Grand Master MWB Shawn Johnson and the Grand Lodge Officers of the Grand Lodge of Ohio. Please come out and support the Grand Master and Grand Lodge Officers for this event. In addition, Worshipful Brother Eric Hovan has built a new alter and area for the alter including the lights and floor. It is truly a work of art and a labor of his being "Committed to the Craft" you will not want to miss it's dedication or veiwing either. This is a Master Mason only event.

Saturday April 25 at 12:00 pm Tuscarawas Lodge #59 will have a Corner Stone dedication to commemorate Cypress Lodge #604, New Philadelphia Lodge #177 and Caldwell Lodge #330 all becoming a part of Tuscarawas Lodge #59. The Grand Master MWB Shawn Johnson and the Grand Lodge officers will also be conducting this ceremony too. Please come and support them as they travel to the 21st District. This event is open to all.
