From a small South Georgia county with very limited resources and no local veterinary support, this sweet Great Pyrenees mom and her puppies were given a chance at a better life. Mom found her way to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta, where she received the care and support she deserved.

Her beautiful mixed-breed puppies have been thriving, and we’re excited to share that Sonny has been adopted into an amazing home in Sandy Springs! He now has a wonderful family, a safe place to grow, and a bright future ahead.

Stories like Sonny’s remind us why rescue matters. A dog that could have easily been overlooked is now living the life every puppy deserves.

Perry, a beautiful Great Pyrenees, was listed as a boy on the euthanasia list at Clayton County Animal Control. As it turns out, Perry was actually a girl—but what mattered most was that someone saw her worth and gave her a chance.

Today, Perry’s story has a happy ending. She has gone from facing euthanasia to starting a wonderful new life with a loving family. What could have been the end of her story became a brand-new beginning.

Perry is proof that shelter dogs are so much more than a kennel number, a photo, or even a mistaken description. They are lives waiting to be saved, loved, and given the opportunity they deserve.

🐾 🐾 The Cemetery Chocolate Labs Are Ready for Homes This Sunday! 🐾

These beautiful chocolate Lab puppies have had quite a journey. Rescued from a cemetery in South Georgia, they were brought to us to receive the care they needed before finding their forever families.

Despite a rough start, these resilient pups are thriving and will be ready to go to their forever homes this Sunday! They have been receiving excellent care and are looking forward to beginning the next chapter of their lives with loving families.

All puppies will be up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and will be spayed or neutered at the appropriate age.

Here was another great baby that was on euthanasia list . The owner tried to Rehome to someone she thought would be a great adopter. Pic of when he was with first owner and we got him. He went to a fantastic home never to be without a beautiful family again
