What Do My Monthly Donations Go To?

Meet Nana.

After her human mom passed away, Nana and her sister Gigi were left behind. Their mom’s husband tried to give them away to another rescue, but when asked to hold onto them for just a short time, he refused.

That same day, both girls were picked up as strays and taken to the shelter.

On the way there, Nana had a seizure from overheating. Thankfully she recovered, but the shelter knew she needed help. We couldn’t separate the sisters, so two foster families stepped up to make room.

Gigi quickly blossomed and was adopted. Nana, however, is still healing—fearful, shy, and deeply traumatized. She’s now in our Fospice program, where donations provide medical care, stability, and love for dogs who can’t be placed in traditional homes.
