WT Faculty Honored for Institutional Service at Year-End Event CANYON, Texas — Several West Texas A&M University faculty members were recognized for outstanding service to the University at a year-end gathering.

WT Engineering Team to Compete at Nationals of Surveying Contest CANYON, Texas — A trio of West Texas A&M University students from the College of Engineering advanced to nationals in a surveying competition.

Karla Berkshire, Kaston Hawkins, and Dylan Furman placed first in the ASCE UESI Surveying Competition. It is 2026 ASCE Frontier Student Symposium Co-hosted by Texas A&M University Corpus Christi & Texas A&M University Kingsville April 15-18, 2026. This was the first team to place 1st from WT!
The team will have an invitation to the National competition in June! Way to go!
