On this Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage, selflessness, and dedication secured the freedoms we cherish every day. Today, we remember their legacy with gratitude and respect.

This week, May 17-23, 2026, we celebrate National EMS Week. The Cape Elizabeth Fire-Rescue Department provides Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to the residents and guests of Cape Elizabeth. Our EMS providers respond to approximately 1,000 calls a year — their expertise, compassion, and quick response times make a significant impact on the well-being of individuals and families throughout the community.

Thank you to the incredible members of the Cape Elizabeth Fire-Rescue Department for your unwavering commitment to making a difference in the lives of those you serve. Your dedication does not go unnoticed and we appreciate all that you do!
