My husband and I attended a Memorial Day Service at our local government building this morning. It sure hits differently when you stop and think about what the day really means. It’s a day to remember the men and women who gave their lives so that the rest of us could live freely, raise our families, build businesses and enjoy ordinary moments that we usually take for granted.

Freedom has a cost and there are families that carry that sacrifice every day.

Grateful for our service men and women and their families who paid the ultimate sacrifice so that we may be free.

There’s something about seeing the coastline from above that puts everything into perspective.

Monterey Bay looks calm, expansive and almost endless. It’s a reminder that “home” isn’t just a house. Home is a feeling, a lifestyle, a view you never get tired of.

I’ve been talking to a lot of people who are wondering if now is the right time to make a move whether that’s upsizing, downsizing, or finally making that coastal dream happen. There is no one-size-fits-all answer.
