🌊🔬🎣 Career Academy students recently traveled to Fish River Falls for a day of environmental science, outdoor recreation, and exploration!

Students conducted water quality testing, collecting and analyzing data to learn more about the health of the local watershed. After completing their testing, they had the opportunity to enjoy some fishing and experience the natural beauty of northern Maine.

The group also visited America’s First Mile, where they learned about the unique history, geography, and natural resources of the region.

This hands-on experience combined science, outdoor skills, and local exploration, helping students connect classroom learning to the world around them.
