Innovative Oral Solutions
We address the underlying causes for lasting results.
Eight to twelve weeks of consistent OPA use and myofunctional therapy is the typical active treatment course. For patients who complete it with real compliance, the functional changes are observable and lasting.
Improved nasal breathing.
Better resting tongue posture.
Reduced morning jaw tension.
More restorative sleep.
More energy during the day.
None of this is guaranteed for every patient. Outcomes vary based on starting point and compliance. But it's the consistent experience of patients who do the work. Three months will pass either way. The question is where your oral function will be when it does.
Learn more about OPA therapy by canting us or asking your provider if it's the right fit.

The documented connections between oral function and systemic health are numerous and mechanistic, not metaphorical.
The tongue's resting position influences the hyoid, which influences cervical alignment, which influences thoracic posture. Breathing pattern modulates the autonomic nervous system through well-established vagal pathways.
Sleep-disordered breathing, with its oral motor contributors, is associated with:
• cardiovascular risk
• metabolic dysfunction
• cognitive impairment
• immune compromise
Periodontal disease has documented associations with cardiovascular and metabolic outcomes. These are anatomy and physiology, not wellness marketing.
Treating oral health as isolated from systemic health is the clinical position that needs defending, not the other way around.

Resting facial posture, lips together, tongue on palate, breathing through the nose, is the anatomically correct default.
When lips are habitually parted, the jaw slightly dropped, and breathing routed through the mouth, the face is displaying a functional oral motor pattern, not a personality trait.
Children with chronic open-mouth posture are often described as tired-looking or inattentive. Adults may not notice it at all until someone points it out in a photo. It's worth noticing, not for cosmetic reasons, but because what the face is doing at rest is a window into what the oral motor system is doing functionally.
The MyoRhino Assessment starts with exactly that observation.
