My Venus is retrograde in Aries in my 6th house.

For years, I thought that meant I was bad at relationships.

What it actually means: my sense of worth has to be built from the inside. Through practice. Through the body. Through showing up daily in my own life with the same devotion I bring to my clients.

Venus at 7° Aries rules my chart. She loves fiercely and initiates boldly, but the receptive half of that exchange has always been the harder work. Being tended. Being loved without earning it first. Letting care actually arrive without redirecting it outward.

Pink chalcedony at the heart is not a generic heart stone. It was chosen specifically for this Venus signature, my chakra system, and the particular shape of my own healing journey: a stone whose work is on the interior climate of gentleness toward the self that has to exist before love from outside can actually register in the body.

This is the practice of shamanic astrology. Chart, chakra, and crystal read together as one living system, each one informing where the others need to do their work. The desire for love was never the deficit in this chart. The capacity to let it land without deflecting it was, and that is what the stone, the chakra, and the placement were all pointing toward together.
