Too early to shop for Christmas? I think not...

Today as I was spending some time with God, reflecting, and reading, I was introduced to this wonderful non-profit group, Thistle Farms, run by Episcopalian priest, Becca Stevens. Thistle Farms trains and employs women recovering from abuse, prostitution, addiction, s*x trafficking, imprisonment, and life on the streets.

I went to their website and found BEAUTIFUL products for Christmas gifts: soaps, oils, lip balms, teas, jewelry. Their online products and gifts are part of the way they maintain their services. Their slogan: Your Purchase Has Power. I can get behind this! I want my gift-giving to have meaning, and to contribute to the well-being of others.
