Naturally sweeten your quiver. 🍯 🐝

Introducing the Spun Honey in Helium Technology designed by , a refined, high-performance groveler based on Dan’s popular Spitfire model. At its core, the Spun Honey is super user-friendly and has a giant sweet spot, the shape features a diamond tail for snappy pivots, added bite, and smooth release, and creates a responsive feel that thrives in punchy beach breaks and quick transitions. It’s the groveler you won’t want to take out of your trunk this summer.

The Spun Honey is a short, compact groveler with the wide point a touch towards the tail from center but further forward to the nose than the Sweet Potato, with a tapered diamond tail, based on ’s popular Spitfire model. Underneath, the bottom contour is a pretty aggressive double concave set within a solid single concave, similar to the bottom of the Sweet Potato, with the double running further forward to the nose than most boards. This double concave bottom contour delivers speed, lift, and fluid rail-to-rail performance, benefits Dan learned from his S Boss and Boss Up shapes with a similar bottom. Dan’s included his famous step rail from the Spitfire, also featured on the Mashup, that allows him to hide a lot of volume in the center of the shape while maintaining bladey, knifey rails. In terms of where the Spun Honey fits in Dan’s range of shapes, it offers more performance than his Sweet Potato but less performance than his Dominator 2.0.

Keep an eye out for ’s Spun Honey Fin Set, coming soon. Designed specifically for the Spun Honey shape, this fin set is a low-profile raked template built in a traditional fiberglass construction.

The fin that can surf beach breaks and reef breaks.

Our all-new Firewire Manncave Fin Set designed by is a well balanced and versatile template that’s designed for various wave types and board types, sitting firmly in the rake world with a slightly more pivot-oriented outline. This is Dan’s go-to fin that he uses to test all of his new shapes – it’s the variable he keeps constant during R&D. For Dan, a good fin template makes sense for both drive down-the-line and pocket maneuvers, and the foil has to be perfect (foiled both front to back but also base to tip). The Manncaves are constructed in a traditional fiberglass layup, offering a familiar and welcoming flex pattern underfoot.
