A massive thank you to our incredible team of editors who spent countless hours snapping photos, designing, organizing, uploading, proofreading, and pouring their hearts into every single page. We loved every minute of working with you, and we love that so many of you had a hand in making this book, because community is what Carrillo is all about 💙

After nearly a decade at Carrillo, Mrs. Williams will be starting an exciting new chapter at Paloma Elementary this fall.
As a valued leader, mentor, and advocate for our students, her impact can be felt throughout our entire school community. And if the student chants at Flag Salute were any indication (who was cutting onions?!), it’s safe to say she will be deeply missed.
While we are sad to see her go, we are so grateful for all she has given to Carrillo and excited for what we know she will bring to the Paloma community💚
Please join us in congratulating Mrs. Williams on this exciting new adventure and thanking her for all she has done for our community over the years!
As promised for reaching (and exceeding) our Jog-A-Thon goal, our incredible PE teacher, Ms. B, got MENCHIED today by 3 of our raffle winners!!

🥁Drumroll please… 🥁 Congratulations to Yalexi, the artist behind our 2025–2026 Yearbook Cover!
We loved seeing the many entries that beautifully captured our school and amazing new field, and we were blown away by everyone’s creativity and school spirit. Thank you to all who submitted artwork! 💙
Yearbook production is officially underway, and books will be distributed in early June. We can’t wait for everyone to see them!
Big THANK YOU to and for treating our teachers whose classes reached at least 80% registration for Carrillo’s Jog-a-thon! Thank you for your support and for generously providing our teachers with free cookies and drinks!🧋🍪✨

Congratulations to Kylie Turner for being chosen as the 2026 Wings of Wise Scholarship recipient! 💙✨
Kylie is a former Carrillo Elementary student whose family has been part of our school community for an incredible 17 years- what a legacy! She’ll be heading to Northern Arizona University this fall to pursue her dream of becoming a speech language pathologist and we couldn’t be more excited for her!
Over $100,000 raised at this year's jog-a-thon to support our amazing students and staff!! Wow!! Mrs.Williams followed through on a big promise to the students... to get SLIMED if we hit our goal. Today at flag salute she did just that! Our top fundraiser, James, did the honors💚 The energy was unreal and the smiles (and slime) say it all!
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who registered, shared, donated, or came out to support. Your generosity and school spirit make fun moments like these possible. We are so grateful for our amazing community!
