Wekiwa Springs State Park

This weekend we checked off another National Park

White Sands National Park was a unique experience, we also went sand sledding down the sand dunes 😅

This past weekend we traveled to Arizona where we got to visit two national parks (Petrified Forest & Grand Canyon) and 1 Natural Landmark, Meteor Crater.

While we were at the Grand Canyon we Hiked 🥾2 mile loop of the South Kaibab trail to visit OOH AAH point one of the better hikes we have done because of the view’s, seen so many Elk, and aate at Big E Steakhouse & Saloon.

Another National Park ✅

Today we grabbed our “America The Beautiful” pass for $80 which covers all 4 of us. This gets us in to any National Park for free.

FYI it was $15 per adult ($30) to visit Carlsbad Caverns. The pass is definitely worth the buy if you plan on visiting many other National Parks.

Stopped in Lamesa TX for an overnight stay.

Next stop, New Mexico!

Aubrey calls these “stick balls” 🤣. We stopped at Casey’s for ANOTHER bathroom break lol and got to see our first tumbleweed on our trip west.
