Amy from SpectorDance and the YMCA, will be teaching a fitness-dance class for older adults as part of the Active Wellness Program for the Central Coast YMCA.

The class will be Tuesday Mornings, starting April 14th, from 8:45-9:45am at the YMCA of the Monterey Peninsula and it is FREE to attend.

Description of the class……
“Ballet for Balance”, for older adults, provides a fun low-impact, accessible way to improve balance, mobility, strength, flexibility, posture, and cognitive function. This class will cater to older adults and will be taught as a beginning level (barre focused for support) focusing on controlled movements rather than jumps.
