What if the behaviors that feel frustrating… actually make sense?

Mental Health Therapist Madison is sharing a powerful perspective that changes how we show up for our children.

When we look beyond “defiance,” “not listening,” or “overreacting,” we start to see the deeper story: overwhelm, anxiety, nervous system responses, and unmet needs.

At One Mind, we don’t stop at thoughts, feelings, or behaviors.

We dig deeper to understand the why, because when we address the root, that’s where meaningful, lasting change happens.

✨ When we understand, we connect.
✨ When we connect, we can support.

Happy 2 Year Work Anniversary, Finn!

Four years ago, Mental Health Therapist Kennedy began her journey at One Mind with her faithful therapy dog, Remy. Two years ago, Finn joined the team and then last year their pack grew once again with Winnie. Together, this incredible team has become a beloved part of the One Mind experience.

Kennedy’s unique approach combines creative arts therapy with animal-assisted interventions, allowing her to meet clients of all ages in meaningful ways. Finn plays an important role in building trust, reducing anxiety and creating an environment where children and teens can grow with confidence.

Thank you, Finn, for two years of comfort, courage and countless smiles. We are so grateful you’re part of the One Mind family and we’re thankful for the entire pack that helps make therapy such a special experience for the families we serve.

Happy Work Anniversary, Finn!

At One Mind, we believe that great clinicians never stop learning.

Each month, our team comes together for professional development with a goal of always expanding our knowledge so we can provide the very best care to the children and families we serve across Central Indiana.

Recently, we had the privilege of welcoming Dr. Scott Antoine from The Center for Fully Functional Health who provided an outstanding training on PANS and PANDAS.

Our team learned how to better recognize the signs and symptoms, understand when referrals may be appropriate, explore current treatment approaches, and discover practical ways to support families navigating these often complex conditions.

We’re incredibly proud of our team for continually investing in their education and one another. Every new insight, every shared experience, and every opportunity to learn helps us provide more thoughtful, collaborative, and compassionate care.

Thank you, Dr. Antoine, for sharing your expertise with our team!

This unique opportunity empowers girls entering 3rd through 5th grade to build confidence, resilience, and lifelong social-emotional skills in a fun, engaging environment.

Through mindfulness, movement, creative projects, and meaningful discussions, children learn to better understand their emotions, manage stress, strengthen friendships, and make thoughtful choices.

Bonus… each child creates a personalized One Heart Toolkit filled with five take-home projects they can continue using long after camp ends.

It’s the perfect opportunity for girls to grow in confidence while making new friends and preparing for the challenges of the school year ahead.
