Baumhover Quilts

This quilt was made for a client in Texas. When her mother passed, we used coordinating colors of her mother’s (cotton knit) shirts to create this beautiful memorial quilt. What a wonderful keepsake for this family, and a great addition to their home.

Now the Christmas season is over, it is time to start thinking about t-shirt quilts for graduation!

This is an example of using several different fabrics in the tipped design. You will notice not all of the dark/light fabrics around the blocks are the same.
“Class of 2022” was also added to the bottom of this quilt, which is something that can be added even if it you don’t have it on a shirt.

This couple met at ISU and collected their favorite Greek t—shirts for years. They were looking for a way to keep them other than in a box. It was only natural to add ISU fabric on the border.

I want to share with you the two quilts I have donated to New Hope Village in Carroll, for their 14th Biennial Quilt Auction which will be held this Saturday, April 9th.

New Hope is an organization that offers both residential and vocational services to adults with disabilities. This is a wonderful organization that I am blessed to support, using my God-given skills.
