Triple V Reporting

I am in need of someone who can work part time assisting with student data reporting duties. This is a 1099 position so you work your own hours and submit invoices to me monthly for hours worked. Prefer to have someone who can come to the office (my house) for training a couple times per month for the first few months. Hours will vary up to 10-15 per week.

VVV is an EMIS (Education Management Information System) reporting consulting business. We submit school related data to the state for 30ish community schools, mainly dropout recovery and prevention schools operating within the big 8 urban districts. EMIS data drives state and federal funding amounts, accountability / local report card results and ensures schools are compliant with state / federal law.

Super realistic expectations here:

Absolutely need to be able to use intermediate and advanced features of Excel and Google Sheets. 93.8% of this job is in spreadsheets. Spreadsheets will be your best friend.
Student Information System experience or ability to pick up how to use very robust software quickly
Knowledge of graduation requirements or the ability to learn them. They are vast and constantly changing.
Not afraid to ask questions but understands I do not answer questions prior to coffee.
Must understand that this is a world of hard deadlines and rigid rules.
Patience. Patience is key. Things change and evolve constantly. You may have to redo work you’ve already done because something has changed at the state or school level or because you accidentally clicked a button too fast or forgot to hit a button a second time. Patience is key.

Duties will vary depending on what I need help with on any given day but may include:
Enrolling students
Scheduling students
Updating student data based on school feedback and/or reports from various state level platforms
Working with school personnel to resolve data errors
Performing quality assurance
Laughing at my jokes even if you don’t think they’re funny (they are)
