One Less Chore

I’m the owner/operator of One Less Chore and today is a bitter sweet day.l love what l do and the people l work for.What l don’t think some of you understand is when l take on the task of cleaning your home you become so much more than JUST A CLIENT you become an important part of my life.
I see you weekly,bi-weekly or monthly.l have a family l have cleaned for,for about two years and while they are starting the next chapter of their lives it leaves me in tears.Their leaving the state while lm happy for them lm sad cause l have been there while their only daughter married and is currently pregnant with her first child and her parents first grandchild,their youngest son graduated and their son that is in the Army is going to be married this weekend. They have animals that l love they had a Great Dane name Lucy that has since passed and they got another to comfort Lucy while they knew she was declining her name is Georgia the sweetest thing ever.l keep her when they go out of town.You see lm not just your housekeeper lm your friend someone you trust,we grow to love one another and that means something to me.
While they are leaving me l wish them the best but they will absolutely be missed.Saturday will be the last day l see them while their son gets married l will be keeping Georgia and getting all the dog loves l can.l will have to say l love you and will think of you often.Although l know there are phones, text and the mail it just won’t be the same as our EVERY Mondays seeing one another.Enjoy this chapter.You will be missed and Thank you also l appreciate you.
