ネバダでも恐竜の化石が見つかるって、知っていましたか？今月号のスペシャルは、ネバダで初めて見つかった新種の恐竜ネバダドロメウスのお話。2008年にバレーオブファイヤーで見つけた恐竜の化石が新種であることを発見したジョシュア・ボンディさんと、奥さんのベッキーホールさんに、お二人が運営するヘンダーソンの Nevada Science Center でお話を伺いました！

ラスベガスに新しいラーメン店「 Sh**un Ramen」がオープン！一風堂のマーメンマスターとして名高いFooさんの愛称で親しまれる鐘ヶ江文浩さんのスーパースペシャルな豚骨ラーメンのお店です。今回のインタビューでは、ラスベガスで豚骨ラーメンを作ることになったきっかけ、パンデミックの直前に出したご自身のブルックリンのお店「唐獅子牡丹」の様子、子供のころの思い出など、唸る豚骨スープを作る鐘ヶ江さんならではの生き方をお伝えします。

ラスベガス・グルメ情報は、暑い夏を吹き飛ばす本格四川旨辛中華、「CHENGDU TASTE」です。

Yasu Yoshikawaさんのコラムでは「専用と専用じゃない劇場ショー」と題し、たくさんあるラスベガスのショーの違いを劇場運営の目線でお話してくれます。マニアックだけど、知っているともっとショーが楽しめるお話。

しばらにぶりにラスベガスに戻ってきた@Sush Machidaさん。アメリカに到着早々、いろいろな試練が次から次へと…… アメリカにずーっといると、慣れっこになってしまいそうな（いや、そんなことはない？）兎にも角にも、お帰りなさい！

Did you know that there are dinosaur fossils in Nevada?
The feature story this month is about Nevadadromeus, a new species of dinosaur found for the first time in Nevada. We talked to paleontologists Joshua Bonde and his wife, Becky Hall of Nevada Science Center. They discovered the dinosaur fossil in the Valley of Fire in 2008.
Recently, their paper has been accepted for publication in the Journal of the Arizona-Nevada Academy of Science.

A new ramen restaurant, SH**UN RAMEN opened in Las Vegas (on the corner of Blue Diamond and Decatur) featuring Foo Kanegae's super special ramen. He is known as a Ramen master of Ippudo, we asked about the path he took to create amazing ramen in Las Vegas. He owns and operates Karazishi Botan in Brooklyn. He opened it just two weeks before the pandemic. We asked how he managed through the difficult time, memories of childhood, etc.

Vegas Gourmet is CHENGDU TASTE, an authentic Sichuan spicy Chinese restaurant.
Yasu talks about the difference between a large permanent theater dedicated to a specific show v.s. a traditional theater that offers multiple variety shows throughout a day, such as the V theater where he performs. It may be a bit maniac, but it gives the audience a different perspective to enjoy the show.
