I’m looking forward to attending the Town Hall Meeting: Meet Your Candidates this Thursday, April 30th at the Casino Fandango Ballroom. This is a great opportunity for our community to hear directly from the Republican candidates running for office and to discuss the issues that matter most to Carson City.

I’ll be there as a candidate for District Attorney, and I hope to see you there to share my vision for accountability, fiscal responsibility, and strong leadership in our justice system.

I really enjoyed connecting with community members on Saturday at the Build 2 Win session. It was a great chance to introduce myself to constituents and to stay afterward for real conversations about the issues impacting our city. Build 2 Win is doing important work, and I encourage anyone to attend their meetings and learn more about the things that directly affect you.

I am humbled and honored to have earned the endorsement of the Western States Regional Council of Carpenters in my campaign for Carson City District Attorney. Their commitment to hard work, building safe communities, and protecting working families reflects the values that drive me in this race.

Thank you for your patience as I continue my campaign. Much of my time has been spent in courtrooms in Carson City, where I am actively advocating for members of our community—work that reflects the very foundation of my campaign for Carson City District Attorney.

When I’m not in the courtroom, my focus is on my family, who remind me every day why this work matters.

I’m proud to officially announce my candidacy for Carson City District Attorney.

As a longtime Carson City resident, veteran trial attorney, and current Supervising Deputy Public Defender, I have spent my career inside our courtrooms — standing up for constitutional principles, ensuring fairness, and working to strengthen public trust in our justice system.

Carson City is home. I grew up here, attended Western Nevada College and the University of Nevada, Reno, and returned to Nevada after law school to serve the community that shaped me. My wife and I are raising our two daughters here — the same valley where we met in sixth grade at Empire Elementary.

I am running because Carson City deserves experienced, steady courtroom leadership.

Over the past decade, I have:
• Defended individuals in Carson City courtrooms
• Served as a Nevada Deputy Attorney General in federal litigation
• Litigated complex civil and criminal cases in state and federal courts
• Supervised attorneys and ensured cases are handled with precision and integrity

Public safety and constitutional integrity are not competing values — they are complementary pillars of a strong community.

As District Attorney, I will work to ensure:
✔ Laws are enforced fairly and consistently
✔ Government actors uphold their constitutional obligations
✔ Victims are heard
✔ Defendants are treated with dignity
