Get for the City of Carson's upcoming RX Take Back Day!
It is scheduled this year on Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 10:00am-2:00pm in front of Sheriff's Station.
The event is a free, anonymous, and a convenient way to dispose of unwanted medications.
What to bring: Unused or expired prescription and over-the-counter pills, tablets, and patches are generally accepted.
Before bringing medications to a site, remember to remove or black out all personal information on the prescription labels to protect your privacy.
The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, organized by the DEA, is designed to provide a safe, convenient, and anonymous way to dispose of unused or expired medications. It acts as a proactive measure against drug misuse, addiction, and accidental poisonings by removing prescription drugs from homes.
