We are looking to Hire an apprentice technician position for learning and helping to install security systems, fire systems, camera systems, and data cabling. If you are interested please send me a message. You must be drug free and live locally to Cartersville. The job is for Monday to Friday 40 plus hours a week. You must have a clean record and drug free.

COMSEC Systems is celebrating its 20th Anniversery! A little History of me and my company that some may not know. I was literally born into the alarm and communications industry. I was the last of my parents nine children and my father worked for Southern Bell/Bellsouth/AT&T. In 1966 or 67 he moved to Smyrna from South Florida with "Ma Bell". A fellow Southern Bell employee Frank Stewart and my Dad were asked by residential and small business customers if they knew anyone who could install alarm systems? They decided to create there own company called "The Stewart Belisario Company" . As a small child I thought it was my company... They started installing alarm systems in accordance with the "Ma Bell standards" which were the top in the industry second to none. They developed a reputation of excellence in quality and integrity in the Smyrna and Marietta area. Some years Later they split apart and my father created Bel-Star systems and continued this tradition for many years until he retired from "Ma Bell" in the mid 80's. He continued this reputation but also incorporated Telephone systems and the new budding industry of Data networking etc... I started out as a young kid Helping my dad in the evenings and on weekends along with my older brother. I started helping on jobs at about 8 years old. By the time I was 15, I was installing alarms in peoples homes pretty much by myself. I graduated High school when I was 17 and continued working for my father full time until later that year I was driving home through Smyrna and saw the Navy recruiting office. I thought since there was war breaking out in the Persian Gulf and in Iraq that I should stop in and see what they had to offer and That I was young and had something to offer my country. The next thing I knew I was in the U.S. Navy and off to boot camp, then "A" School and spent the next 3 to 4 years of my life on The U.S.S. Forrestal Aircraft carrier as an Electricians Mate and was able to travel the Mediterranean and Europe. I completed my 4 years of service and came back home and worked for my father again for a few years until I was hired by a National Fire Alarm company AFA Protective systems. I was quickly made into the commercial installation manager for the Atlanta branch covering most of the Southeast handling over 400 stores for CVS Pharmacy and warehouses, Highrise buildings, and commercial projects. I continued this from 1996 to 2001. In 2001 I returned to my fathers company to hopefully take over the business, this ended up not working out for me so in 2003 I left to start my own company. I had moved to Bartow county in 1994 since I could not afford to live anywhere else. I came home in 2003 one day to my wife and 2 young boys and told her I was going to take a leap of faith and start my own company here in Bartow company. My wife all all the confidence in the world in me, So in 2003 with no money, a lot of know how, and a lot of determination I started COMSEC SYSTEMS. With the Integrity, knowledge, perseverance that my father taught me, and The Education of electrical Theory and training that the U.S. Navy taught me we have now served Bartow county and most of NW Georgia for 20 years. We have tried to the best of our ability to give the best customer service, fair service rates and professionalism to our customers. I just want to thank you Bartow County and all my customers we have served these past 20 years. We look forward to continuing to serve you for many years to come. I also want To thank a lot of my customers that have been with me since my fathers company, AFA and have believed in me and followed me with their business wherever I went and when I started this company!
