At Trinity UMC, we believe children aren't a distraction from the sacred—they're part of it. Their questions, their wonder, their unfiltered joy? That's faith in its purest form.

That's why we created the Prayground: a dedicated space right inside our sanctuary where kids can engage with worship on their level. They draw, build, and play with hands-on tools that connect them to the service happening all around them. No back rooms. No missing out. Just little ones growing up surrounded by song, prayer, and community.
And we've got every age covered. A loving nursery welcomes babies through pre-K, so our youngest ones are cared for from the very start. Then, halfway through the service, kids head to Children's Church for programs written just for them—faith they can see, touch, and understand.

Because the moments kids spend in worship now shape the faith they carry forever. They learn by watching us. They belong by being with us.

Here's the heart of it: your kids start the service right beside you. They color, build, and explore in a cozy spot designed just for them, while you stay connected to worship. Then, halfway through, kids head to Children's Church for programs written just for them—faith made fun, on their level. And for our littlest ones? Don’t forget, we have a teaching session about the Social Principles Wednesday at 6:30 pm. We will also have a time of worship and prayer. This is a great event to invite your friends too so that they can see how the church speaks to relevant current issues in our world today.
