If it's broke I can fix it. If you can dream it, I can build it.

Photos are lagging a bit behind actual progress, but here's up to roughly the halfway point on narrowing this bucket

I finally reconfigured my flow meter so that the needle valve is before the meter in normal flow and got a back mount gauge.
I put it to work checking whether the pump or steering valve/motor was at fault for the low system pressure and heavy steering on this Ford 555D backhoe.
The system relief valve is set to 2000psi and is in the valve, meaning the pump should produce at least 2000psi when loaded and still be close to the 4gpm rating. This pump would barely deflect the needle on the gauge even when deadheaded, meaning something is wrong internal to the pump.
While it's often possible to rebuild these pumps, this is already an aftermarket unit with overall poor fit and finish, so we'll be installing a new pump.

First cut on the plasma table! It's not pretty and none of my settings are dialed in yet, but it cut.
I had this scrap of 20ga laying around that had been used as masking for flame spray and was horribly warped, so I figured this would be a good test of the automatic torch height control.
I just used the straight cut function for the initial run to eliminate any variables that could come from improper CAM programming.
Next up is to get some corrosion preventatives into the water pan and start setting up Sheetcam properly to run this table.
