A few photos from the Battle of Carthage Re-enactment this weekend!

I spent some time capturing the warm-ups, camp life, and the incredible attention to detail that the re-enactors bring to this event. It was great catching up with several familiar faces I've gotten to know over the years through these reenactments.

Unfortunately, the rain had me playing defense with my camera gear, so I wasn't able to stay for the battle itself. Even so, I had a great time documenting the atmosphere and history leading up to the main event.
