We got a great question this week:
Why does it matter if eggs are washed β and should I refrigerate them?
Fresh eggs have a natural protective coating called the bloom that helps keep bacteria out.
Unwashed eggs still have the bloom and can be stored at room temp for a time.
Washed eggs lose that coating and should be refrigerated.
π At Stormy Farms, we wash our eggs β so they should be kept refrigerated once you take them home.
And if you want to talk eggs in person (or grab a dozen π), you can find us year-round at .
This is your sign to make a simple oven-roasted pork dinner. ππ₯
