We have been blessed this week for Teacher Appreciation Week!

One of the most frequent compliments we receive from visitors is, 'You all feel just like a family.' We truly cherish that feedback because it’s exactly how we feel every day. We are incredibly blessed to have such a supportive, tight-knit work environment, and it’s all thanks to the heart and soul of this building: our amazing Mark Twain teachers and staff.

Mark Twain x Christian Heady Foundation: Help Us Make a Splash! 🌟☕️
Every year, Mark Twain teams up with a charity to support the fight against childhood cancer. This year, we are incredibly proud to partner with the Christian Heady Foundation!

Our students will be collecting donations all week long to support a local cause that truly changes lives. But we aren’t doing this alone—we want to give our incredible community the opportunity to join the mission!

How You Can Help:
Drop off at School: Swing by Mark Twain through Thursday March 26th to add to our donation jars.

Fuel Up for a Cause: Our friends at Hatchers Coffee have graciously agreed to donate a portion of their proceeds this week to the foundation! Grab your morning brew and support the kids at the same time.

The Stakes: 🧪
If we hit our fundraising goal of $400 by Friday, we’ll be presenting Doug Heady with a check—and then we’re going to SLIME him! Will Doug stay dry, or are we bringing the green goo? But wait there is MORE! If we can get to $600 we will get to SLIME a couple of our Assistant Superintendents! Let’s fill those jars, Mark Twain. Let’s make a difference (and a mess) for a great cause!

March 23rd - 26th Hatcher’s is serving Iced Tiger Lattes and Orange Cream Sodas in partnership with Carthage Mark Twain Elementary as they fundraise for a local charity. Each of these drink purchases donates $1 toward the cause and gets the students closer to their goal. Come support us as we support them and try something new!
