Long story but so worth your read!!

So many of you know I am also a NICU nurse and that is a lot of how I have come to make all the cute things that I make..

So a couple months ago I got an order from a lady for a Blanket and Receiving blanket set.

Well prior to her needing it her friend had her baby.. I was working and had admitted a baby into the NICU and just fell in love with this sweet little guy and his family!! His momma was the sweetest..

During a NICU stay it is often times so hard on the momma because this isn’t what they had planned. Seeing their baby that way, the birth not going the way it was planned, leaving the hospital without their baby.. I always try to go out of my way to make this experience the best that it can be during this hard time.. I often ask what the theme of the nursery is so that I can match there NICU banner to the room so that they have a sweet keepsake to take home. When asking his momma what his theme was she said whales/nautical theme.. As I am going through my paper trying to find a match I thought wait a minute babies name is Elliott and his theme is whales/nautical this has to be the same baby for the order I received.. and so I asked and it was!!

It’s stories like this that bring so much joy!! It is nice to see love in these trying times that we are living in.. It was a pleasure getting to know you and that was one of the sweetest thank you cards I have received!!
