Low vision doesn’t mean no vision, but it can change how daily life looks and feels.

Simple routines like reading mail, driving to the store, recognizing faces, or cooking dinner may take more time, more energy, and more problem-solving. Tasks that once felt automatic can require new strategies or extra support.

Low Vision Awareness Month is about recognizing that impact, and making sure people know they’re not alone in navigating it.
