The Apex Skip-Its, now in its 12th year, is a performance jump rope team of athletes from 2nd grade to high school.

For more than 33 years, we’ve had the privilege of leading jump rope teams — which means we’ve had the honor of watching thousands of incredible athletes and dozens of amazing coaches come through our team.
We snapped this picture at our coaches’ dinner last week, celebrating this past year and dreaming a little about the one ahead. (That’s why you see the incredible Coach Sarah at the table!!!)
This year’s coaching staff carried a special kind of magic. Jessie, Will, Audrey, Katie, and Thomas — thank you for the energy, commitment, and heart you poured into this team. Thank you for showing up, week after week, and helping create the kind of environment where athletes can grow not just in skill, but in character, leadership, friendship, and confidence. The impact of great coaches goes far beyond practice, and this team is stronger because of each of you.
And while we are so excited for Thomas as he heads to Baltimore for a new job, and for Katie as she begins her next chapter at Cornell, it’s the definition of bittersweet. We’re proud of you both — and we will miss you more than words can say. ❤️ With love, the Hagers

Registration is NOW OPEN for our Fall Clinic and 2026–2027 Team Tryouts!
If your child is curious about jump rope or ready to take the next step, this is the time. We only hold tryouts once per year, so this is their opportunity to tryout for the team.
