She started her birthday weekend right with a big, delicious german chocolate cake!
Making the coconut pecan frosting requires cooking it in a saucepan and watching it very closely…and it smells SOOOO good! 🤤 🎂 🥥

Karla is a wonderful person who helped us tremendously when my son was a baby and we were muddling through different therapies, paperwork and getting a handle on our new roles as parents…she is a treasure and I will always be grateful for her and the role she played in my son’s life!

Two more cakes I did this week. I love using fresh flowers from my garden and the contrast of colors!

First was a vanilla almond cake with cream cheese buttercream, raspberry in the middle and on top!
Second was a chocolate with chocolate fudge buttercream, with the same raspberry middle and top.

A chocolate cake, with a thick layer of strawberry buttercream in the middle, covered in a chocolate fudge buttercream and decorated with fresh strawberries!
