Acme Sheet Metals Inc - Casper

With a 40-year background in commercial roofing, the owner, Matthew Egger, moved into manufacturing quality steel products locally. With three sons, and a wife all in the business he founded ACME Sheet Metals, Inc in 2019. Opening in Rapid City and quickly expanding into a second location in Casper, WY.

Our growing company is looking to fill the role of Sheet Metal Production. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. We will consider candidates that do not necessarily have all of the qualifications but have drive and talent.

Responsibilities for production:
Use work orders and schematics to construct custom products
Choosing the right sheet metal material for the job based on work orders
Using sheet metal brake to cut, bend, and shape to required dimensions
Regularly inspecting and maintaining tools and machines to ensure they are in good working order
Jumping in other area when needed as others need help or are out of the office
Receive packing slips from office/sales staff to then help load
Be able to work the typical 40-hour work week

Qualifications for production:
Presentable appearance and a professional demeanor
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Basic understanding of measurements/math
Ability to learn and understand sheet metal terminology
Ability to run a forklift a plus

Requirements for production:
Hours are 8am-5pm, Monday - Friday; must be punctual and dependable
