At Lost Coffee, our free public coffee sampling offers a gateway to discovering new favorites. Each tasting session is thoughtfully crafted to provide an engaging and educational experience.

NEW YEAR = COLOMBIAN COFFEE AT LOST

We’re excited to introduce Finca San Jose, a new single-origin Colombian coffee from our longtime partners at Samaria Coffee. Grown with care and intention at an elevation of 1920 MASL in Risaralda, this coffee brings a fun flavor profile to our offerings. At our cupping table we taste: Candy Corn, Hazelnut and Black Currant. We first tasted this coffee while visiting Samaria in Colombia. They fondly referred to it as SJ, an abbreviation of the farm where it is grown. The plant varietals that make up SJ are Caturra and Castillo, plants. Caturra is a high yield Bourbon mutation known for its bright acidity while Castillo is a Colombia plague resistant hybrid known for its balanced profile.

And for those moments when you want all the comfort with none of the caffeine, our Palo Rosa Decaf remains a staple. Also sourced from Samaria Coffee, Palo Rosa delivers rich flavor, smooth body, and zero compromise coffee that is proof that decaf can still be part of a great ritual!
