THREE GREAT TIPS FOR SUCCESS
1) A vision big enough for you. Sometimes we don't reach for a dream that really brings us alive - we might be scared, or an old belief about how the world works has us by the ankles, for heaven's sake! It's possible but not always easy to shake it off!

2) Completing the past. My coach has me working on that this week, and I thought I had already embraced my past. Uh, nope- still there is more. I am uncovering resentment, grief and regret, which create shadows that loom into my present.

3) Catch yourself doing something right: Oh, how critical we can be - of ourselves. By digging around in my past, I find that I've over emphasized my so-called failures and completely ignored my successes. Anything that smacks of less than perfect grabbed center stage in my outlook. Cleaning that up is good!

MY LIFE HAS NO MEANING!!
Many of us women over 50 are looking for MEANING and SPARKs and MAKING A DIFFERENCE! Kids gone, job gone, partner may be gone. Women derive meaning from our relationships, and also our contributions to our world. If we don't have either, we get into a funk, depressed, exacerbate health issues, use food or alcohol or other substances to cover up the feelings of uselessness and aimlessness, and it gets harder and harder to find our way out.
The first step to creating meaning is to KNOW THYSELF. Who in the world are YOU, NOW, at this time in your life? What is calling you? Why?
We have an advantage over someone who's 30. We have 20, 30, 40, 50 more years of EXPERIENCE to draw on! Great mistakes that taught us that we needed to change course. Great wins that emerged from more clarity of our purpose and our values.
The challenge is to pull all that data together and see in what direction it points us.
