One Project Closer

Growing up, I enjoyed watching my dad and his hobbies, which included making kaleidoscopes, wind chimes and STAINED GLASS! Some of my fondest memories were going to craft shows and helping work his booth. He hasn’t touched stained glass in maybe 25 years but about a year ago, I asked him to teach me. Once an English teacher (please ignore my poor grammar and total disregard for proofreading- I promise, he tried really hard), then board of Ed supervisor and now professional photographer, we had a difficult time finding time until just after Thanksgiving this year. Here were a few of the projects I was able to complete- super fun and certainly more of a learning curve than I’m used to. But it’s been lots of fun learning from my dad and I’m so grateful he hung onto so much of his glass and supplies!

Our youngest only wanted to make valentines for dogs this year. So all the doggy cousins and neighbors got hand-dipped white chocolate bones!
