In the past two years alone we have seen construction costs rise 30-40%. The cost of materials, labor and everything in-between has been affected.

While some policies may have an endorsement providing additional replacement cost coverage in the event of a total loss, even those may find themselves short of coverage on a rebuild.

Many of our carriers have made some proactive adjustments on limits of their own at renewal, but we are seeing those are still short in some cases.
