Meet Tank!

At just 38 pounds, Tank is guessed to be a 1½-year-old Staffordshire Terrier mix with the cutest little low-rider legs you've ever seen. He's got a big smile, a bigger personality, and a body that looks like someone hit the "compress" button in the very best way.

Don't let those short legs fool you, they're ready for adventure!

Tank would love to be your hiking buddy, neighborhood walking partner, road trip co-pilot, or backyard zoomie champion. Wherever you're headed, this happy guy just wants to tag along.

We're still getting to know this handsome guy, but one thing is already obvious... Tank has the kind of joyful personality that makes you smile the second you meet him.

If you already have another dog, we'll schedule a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is the perfect match. We haven't introduced him to cats yet, but a cat test is coming soon.

We think Tank would love a home with a securely fenced yard where he can stretch those adorable little legs, run, play, and enjoy life to the fullest.

🐾 Hi! I’m Rusty! 🐾

I’m still pretty new here, so I’m figuring out this whole shelter thing... but I have to say, I think I’m doing a pretty great job. ❤️

There are new people to meet, new smells to sniff, toys to discover, and SO many things to be excited about. Honestly? I think this place might be pretty fun!

I’m guessed to be an 8-month-old mixed breed pup weighing about 40 pounds, and my friends here say I’m basically 100% Good Boy. 🐶

What kind of mix am I? That’s a great question! Boxer? Maybe! A little bit of this? A little bit of that? Probably! But whatever my DNA says, my personality says I’m a sweet, playful guy who just wants to be part of the fun.

I love making new friends, running around the yard, chasing toys, and soaking up all the attention I can get. I’m still a puppy, which means I’m learning new things every day and discovering just how much fun the world can be.

So far, the humans here know that I’m dog-friendly! If you have another pup at home, we’ll set up a meet-and-greet to make sure we’re the perfect match. I haven’t met any cats yet, but I’m hoping to do that soon so everyone can learn more about me.

I think my dream home would have a fenced yard where I can show off my zoomies, play some games, and then come inside to be your best buddy.

I’m still learning all about my new life here, but one thing is already clear... I’m going to make someone very, very happy someday. ❤️

💛 Um... hi. It’s me, Kitty. 💛

I have a question...

How am I still here? 🥹

I keep hearing people say things like, “Kitty is amazing!” and “Someone is going to be so lucky to have her!” and “She’s such a good girl!”

And every time I hear that, I think... okay, so where is my person? Because I’m ready. I’ve been ready. 🐾

I’m the kind of dog who doesn’t just wag my tail when I’m happy... I wag my whole body. I love adventures, I love tennis balls, I love kids, I love walks, and I especially love being right next to my favorite person. I'm dog friendly and I may even be cat friendly if your cat is pretty dog savvy. I do like to give bunnies and squirrels a little side eye though but if I start pulling towards them, a simple correction and I'll be right back by your side. I'm a very good listener. 🥹

At 36 pounds, I’m the perfect size for pretty much everything. Weekend adventures? I’m in. A walk around the neighborhood? Absolutely. A cozy night on the couch? That’s my specialty. I don’t need anything fancy... I just want to be included.

I even graduated from Puppies for Paroles, which means I’ve been working hard on my manners and learning how to be the very best version of myself. I’m smart, eager to please, and always willing to learn (especially if treats are involved 🦴).

The humans here tell me I’m sweet, loving, and such a wonderful dog. I believe them... but I’m starting to wonder if my forever family just hasn’t found me yet.

So if you’ve been looking for a happy, affectionate, ready-to-love-you dog, maybe you’re the reason I’m still waiting. ❤️
