Our Story

Apex Structural LLC is a full service structural engineering and design firm located in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa area. Our staff of engineers and designers have over 80 years of combined experience, and are eager to help you with any structural engineering projects you may have. Our engineers are always available to help answer questions, and to assist you in planning your project – from initial concept to final construction.
We possess a wide range of structural expertise in commercial, industrial, residential, and municipal design. Our skills incorporate all types of structures – structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and wood. We can design building foundations to retaining walls to full structural framing.
Our engineers and designers also have over 20 years of experience with pre-engineered metal buildings, so we can design proper, cost-efficient building foundations, as well as custom add-ons such as second floor mezzanines, equipment pads and supports, and overhead crane systems.
