We are excited to kick off the 23-24 school year with our first Red Hawk of the Week!

Marquise Mance, an 11th-grader at Cedar Springs High School, was nominated for his dedication and hard work over the summer.

Marquise is going into his Junior year and hopes one day to play football at the next level while making an impact in the community of Cedar Springs.

Marquise said his favorite class is Strength and Conditioning. "Coach Ash has been a mentor since Middle School and a big part of me becoming who he is today." His hard work and dedication are paying off as he holds the school record for deadlift (at 675 lbs) and is a strong athlete on our football team.

Marquise says he is the person he is today because of his parents, coaches, teachers, and teammates. "Being part of the football program has made a great impact on my life. The team is a big brotherhood and family."

We are proud to have Marquise as one of our Red Hawks and excited to feature many more of our students this year!

The Friends of Skinner field (FOSF) are looking for a motivated individual to join our board as a trustee. This is a voting position who's primary functions would include attending quarterly meetings and assist in the maintenance and improvement of the Skinner Field facilities.
