Walnut cookie table! 🍪 A cookie refers to wood that was cut across the trunk instead of along the grain. This piece likely sat on the forest floor for a long time, and a section was rotted out. This allows for the salvaged wood to be filled with this stunning bronze epoxy and given a second life as furniture. I have another one of these in the shop and ready to pour as a custom piece with your choice of epoxy for the next customer!

The Yaka tables are finally complete! Yaka wood (also called Pacific Rimu) is a unique tropical hardwood that is native to Fiji. The striking grain and color variation is unlike any other wood I have seen, I wish I could get some more of this. These table designs can be duplicated with other woods, or paired with a live edge top too. Link in bio for orders!
