DO NOT SMASH THEM. They release pheromones & more will come like a planned invasion !!
Instead you need to collect in a jar or empty water bottle. Once dead you can dispose. 🤗

Added: I see the conflicting comments and I'll leave them. It just shows the varied/contradicting amount of information out there.
I've learned to not smash them from 3 people who have great long-term knowledge about bugs and/or gardening.
But I've heard, from equally knowledgeable people, the opposite.
Use your best judgment. 👌 but they're invasive. So do something about them 🤪🤪
Also, people saying they don't smell, oh I beg to differ. And again, your opinion & my opinion, both valid. And respected here. 🙌
