💙 Our August Monthly Initiative: Supporting Camp New Dawn 💙

At Tides of Grace, we believe that no one should have to walk through life’s hardest moments alone. This August, we are honored to support Camp New Dawn, a grief camp through Compass Hospice that provides children and teens with a safe, caring environment to connect with others who have experienced the death of a loved one.

As part of this month’s initiative, we are creating 75 individualized camper bags for every child attending camp. Our hope is that each camper will feel surrounded by the love and support of our entire community as they begin their healing journey.

🌊 We’re inviting local businesses, organizations, and community partners to be part of this special project!

Would your business like to donate 75 items to include in each camper’s bag?

Donations don’t have to be large or expensive. Some fun ideas include:
✨ Chapstick with your company logo
✨ Stress balls
✨ Fidget toys
✨ Sunglasses
✨ Friendship bracelets
✨ Mini handheld fans
✨ Keychains
✨ Water bottles
✨ Pens or notebooks
✨ Stickers
✨ Small journals
✨ Inspirational cards
✨ Other promotional swag or thoughtful trinkets that kids and teens would enjoy

The kids range from pre-K to 12th grade 

🍦 Own a restaurant, café, bakery, or other food business? We’d also love to include 75 coupons for a free item (or another special treat) from your business. It would be a wonderful surprise for these campers and a meaningful way to let them know your business is cheering them on.

If your item doesn’t have your logo on it, you’re welcome to attach a small tag letting the campers know it was donated by your business or organization.

🗓 All donations must be received by July 31 so we have time to assemble the camper bags before camp begins. If you plan to contribute, please reach out and let us know so that we can account for your item. 

We would love for this to be a true community effort—showing these 75 incredible campers that they are loved, supported, and surrounded by people who care about them during their healing journey.

Now Hiring: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – PRN Nights

Looking for a career where compassion makes a difference every day?
Compass Hospice is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Hospice Center team. As a CNA, you'll provide compassionate, hands-on care that brings comfort, dignity, and support to patients and their families when they need it most.

Position Details:
✨ PRN Night Shift (8:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m.)
✨ Minimum of two 12-hour shifts per month
✨ Two holidays per year
✨ Maryland CNA or GNA certification required
