We are pleased to announce the foundation of the Statistics Doctoral Student Association ( an independent student organization governed by the Ph.D. students of the Statistics Department at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign The purpose of this association is to create a favorable environment that fosters research activities, social events, and encourages interdepartmental interaction and collaboration.
