Across the world, plural societies are being tested by urgent questions of migration, borders, democracy, rights, education, work, identity, and belonging.

The Twenty-Seventh International Conference on Diversity in Organizations, Communities & Nations invites proposals for its 2027 Special Focus: "Governing Difference: Power, Policy, and the Future of Plural Societies".

Held 3–4 June 2027 at the University of Galway, Ireland, with options to participate in person or online, the conference offers a space to share research, exchange perspectives, and build connections across disciplines, sectors, and regions.

We welcome proposals from scholars, practitioners, policymakers, educators, graduate researchers, and community leaders.

“The International Journal of Architectonic, Spatial, and Environmental Design” publishes interdisciplinary work on human configurations of the environment and the interactions among constructed, social, and natural worlds. Bringing together researchers, teachers, and practitioners, the journal creates space for inquiry that moves between empirical and theoretical work, research and application, and the ideal and the pragmatic.

Attending to private, public, communal, and commercial space alike, the journal supports critical reflection on the forms, systems, and relations through which environments are imagined, designed, inhabited, and transformed.
