Too often, parenting is reduced to a set of techniques and strategies to get our kids to go to sleep, eat their vegetables, not hit their brother, do their chores…
Imagine if a partner sought out techniques and strategies to get you to sleep with them, lose weight, or keep the house clean.
It’s deeply disrespectful and dehumanizing!
Let’s stop seeing parenting as behavior management and manipulation and learn to have relationship instead. 💗
