I'm out driving my 1977 Honda Civic 1500 cvcc today.
Proper tags, insurance, and new tires. I have about 150 miles now since doing the unconventional head gasket repair.
Got on the freeway and didn't get run over by faster cars only because I was able to get to 75-80 mph, with room to spare (faster).
Drove thru downtown Chandler, it was crowded and traffic going 15 mph. It passed the idle testing for "Does it Overheat"? Nope! The radiator fan came on temp gauge dropping.
I have about another month to drive as much as possible before the thrill is gone. Won't be able to drive once the outside temps go passed 105 degrees. Until Fall weather, around November.

Finnally after 2 1/2 hours today at AZ-MVD, to correct my paper's on the Civic's. I have proper title, registration and plates for each one. The wait time could have been less only if I agreed to pay another $49.62 to tag the 77 1500 Civic. I was tolded it would take time to reenter the information on the back system to get things back to were it was a week ago and that I would have to wait for it to download before they could continue.
It wasn't the dollar amount that upset me so much, but the fact that they made a mistake and didn't want to do their jobs.
I was holding up the line with my insisting I wasn't going to pay another dime to correct the mistakes made last week. The desk manager tried multiple times to convince me that I was going to have to pay again no matter what.
I asked her what happened to my $28.56 that I had paid for renewing the registration in December of 2024 on the 1200 Civic that made those tags good till December of 2025. Was told she (manager) doesn't see that? Only that the tags are good till March of 2026 that are on it now. Gee, imagine that........I just re-register it for no reason last week, but the system on the counter server doesn't show past history's.
All said and done and I have a credit of $8.34 on my account to be used towards any vehicle I have registered (5) next time any come up for renewal.
Now all I have to do? Is figure out were my two missing tires have gone to?

Monday, after I finish this 2013 Acura TLX, for the neighbor across the street, and his oil change with inspection, in the morning, which will be the third oil change I have performed, there shouldn't be anything wrong? We repaired my concerns from the last two times.
I plan on hitting up Az-MVD, to try and correct paper's on the 1977 Civic 1500 cvcc.
I won't know about were my two missing tires are at in till Tuesday,
I was tolded by Tireeasy that it would take till then to figure it out and make it right.
Saturday, I got the plates in the mail, which are registered under the wrong vin number. I didn't even open the thick envelope they came in.

Glad this customer wasn't in a rush! I had to bring out my "It's Going To Come Off Tool".
1991 Honda Accord EX Wagon with a 5 speed transmission. Put some heat to it with my mini-pen torch, hit it with the tool about 40 seconds. Didn't think it was going to budge, but I finally saw it move. Cleaned it up to fit once again on a 14mm socket or box wrench on the bench grinder.
Back together as far as all the front engine seals, water pump, timing belt, balancer belt and both tensioner. Great stopping point.
In the morning I can finish the outside. Going to be so much better with the new timing belt covers.
