New Course, Familiar Winds: PRS Lands in Roswell - KITPLANES Roswell’s first Pylon Racing School offers a dry run of the new course, with light turnout, big ambitions, and plenty of dust in the air.

Ramp Rat Racing is bringing back the Pond Racer to compete in the new Sport Class unlimited division.

The new Pond Racer will be powered by a pair of Pratt & Whitney PT6 turboprops, which are legal now thanks to the recent rules update. These modern engines offer more power and reliability than the original piston-driven powerplants, and this rebuild presents a unique opportunity to see what the Pond Racer’s innovative twin-boom, forward-swept wing design is truly capable of.
Fans won’t want to miss the action this September in Roswell, New Mexico and October in Las Cruces, New Mexico, where Sport Class pilots will race wingtip to wingtip 50feet above the earth
