Protecting the integrity of the hair during a major gray transformation is always my priority. I used Molecular Repair Mist before continuing the service to help repair previous damage and strengthen the hair before further lightening. After the final shampoo, I applied the K18 Leave-In Molecular Repair Mask to restore strength, elasticity, and softness without the need for conditioner.

Before styling, I finished with K18 HeatBounce, which protects the hair from cuticle to cortex up to 450°F while helping maintain shine, bounce, and long-term hair health.

A couple of tips for stylists working with gray blending:
