Zip is the adoptable bunny featured for today! Zip was rescued by a couple from being slaughtered for food. They found him at a business in the upstate in a box with zip tied front and back legs in the heat with no food or water. Zip has been with a great foster who has helped him work through his mistrust of people. She has done such a good job! She says Zip is a very clever bunny who definitely knows how to “train” his human. He loves lounging and appreciates fair warning when you are entering his space. He loves pets as long as they are on his terms. In the foster’s words: “He prefers pets on his own terms which means he wants you to put out your finger to chin & then he decides whether he wants pets 😂.”

We have two fun events coming up to benefit Hoppy Hearts SC! First is bunny yoga! This will be held at Aloft Yoga in Columbia. We did this a couple of years ago and it was a lot of fun for everyone, including the bunnies! This will be held on Saturday, July 25 and open to all levels. Registration information will be coming soon!

The second event is the Fast and Furriest 5k run and walk. This will be held on May 8, 2027 at Saluda Shoals Park in Irmo, SC! This is further in the future, but planning and preparation starts now!
