🚨 Monthly Siren Test Notice 🚨

Monthly siren testing will take place this morning at 11:00 a.m. The sirens will cycle twice as part of the test. This allows us to verify our connection and enables the Geauga County Sheriff's Office Sheriff Scott A. Hildenbrand to test its connection as well.

Please be advised: This is only a test.

As a reminder, our outdoor warning sirens are tested on the first Wednesday of every month at 11:00 a.m., weather permitting. Outdoor warning sirens are designed to alert people who are outdoors of potential hazards. They are not intended to be heard indoors, so residents should have additional ways to receive emergency alerts, such as a weather radio, wireless emergency alerts on a mobile phone, or local news and weather notifications.
